Interpreting Body Language Attraction Signals

Did you know that body language of men and women change largely in the presence of the opposite gender. For example, a man will automatically recover his posture, be a little higher, and avoid common subsidence or slouching.

bodylanguageattraction4When a man is in the company of a woman who is interested, they will make every effort to appear more dominant and expand his chest forward.

Attraction Gestures Men Use

Basically, men do not have a large inventory of attraction and flirting gestures in relation to women. When a man is interested in a woman, focusing his efforts to prove his masculinity and macho image of a man.

His movements often begin with patting the hair in place, straighten his clothes, adjusting his tie, if he uses one, and often push the chin forward. At the same time, expanding his chest, straighten his back and draw in the stomach.

Attraction Gestures Women Use

But when a woman is interested in a man, tons of signs and signals they show to notify him of her feelings. Unfortunately, many men are totally unaware of these signs and signals. Worse, the women inadvertently sends mixed signals when they try to manipulate men to show her feelings for him.

One of the most common gestures used by a woman around a man who is playing with her hair. What happens here is that women flick their hair away from her face or shoulder in a sensual way. Surprisingly, this gesture is also with women with short hair mainly focusing in the bangs.

Intimate Zone

Each person has their own area intimately. The size of this zone can vary from one person to another person but only to a minimum. It begins with their own body, extends to a foot and a half / two feet away. To them, this intimate area “belongs” to them, or are considered “theirs”.

Parents, brothers, husbands, lovers, children, relatives and close friends will continue normally within 18 inches/50 centimeters from each other. Like them, only those considered as emotionally close to us can afford to break the barrier of space and into the intimate zone. Any alien who enters without invitation this area is considered an act of intimidation and hostility, which leads the person away from immediate intrusion.

Beauty, they say, in The Eye of the Beholder

Women in general tend to attract men who are powerful, secure and independent, qualities that strongly suggest the person as a competent and reliable supplier of a father to his children. Moreover, what men find attractive in women is usually based more on the outside visually appealing.

In both cases, men or women, focusing on these qualities, always hoping to make us more attractive (beauty or personality) to the opposite sex and have a wider choice peers may choose.

If concern for others is demonstrated through body language, never be used to manipulate others. People really are those which are seen as they really are, and always believe in themselves.

Body Language Attraction – Flirting Body Language

January 31st, 2010 DeAngelo No comments

Cheesy pick-up lines are out, and aggressive flirting body language is in. The fact is, your body language attraction is more powerful than anything you might say to a woman. Here are some reasons why this seduction tool is so powerful.

First, you can flirt with a woman from across the room just by showing her you’re interested. Second, a woman will feel more comfortable talking to a guy who’s already showing signs of being interested (women hate rejection, too!).

So what flirting body language signals can you send out to women so they can tell at once that you’re a single guy who’s out to interact and have fun? Here are three examples.

bodylanguageattraction31. Be Open to Greetings and Smiles.

If you’ve seen a guy huddled all by himself inside a bar teeming with beautiful ladies in need of someone to flirt with, what is the first thing that comes to mind? You’d think that this guy doesn’t want to interact, and is probably in the process of drowning his sorrows by drinking. Needless to say, not a single female will approach him. You have to face the crowd even if you’re alone.

Check out the design of the place (including the women milling around). Make eye contact with women who are checking you out in return. Say hello and smile when a woman passes by. Maintaining an ‘open’ body language will increase the likelihood that you’re going to meet a woman you can date later.

2. Wink.

There’s a proper way of winking that won’t tag you as a creep. It’s actually quite simple but guys miss this entirely. Smile broadly before you wink. Smiling takes the edge off your unprecedented eye play because it serves as a greeting.

This is particularly helpful if the woman is positionally inaccessible (like when she’s seated with her friends and you’re standing by the bar). Smiling and winking will effectively put you on her to-talk-to list for the night (if she doesn’t come right over and talk to you immediately!).

3. Tilt your head when she says something interesting.

Some men have faces that really don’t show much expression. If you’re one of these men who were born with a ‘perennial poker face’, you can express your interest by tilting your head towards her.

All these body language cues help when you want to establish rapport with women.

The realm of Body Language Attraction is something that has come to light in recent years. The reason is that most people have come to realize that signs of body language attraction is everywhere. Whether in a bar or local library, people of the opposite gender are likely to send pull things in their subconscious.

bodylanguageattraction2There is a difference between where a male and female chooses to send signals. In general, women are more attracted to the alpha-male. This is characterized as a man who is independent, strong and firm. In contrast, men, physical attraction is the primary factor, rather than personality characteristics.

Body language signals women are naturally eager to show their ability to carry a child. Physically, women generally have rounded lips, smooth skin, thin eyebrows and no facial hair. Compared to a man the size of a woman waist is smaller, pelvis broader and legs slender.

It’s a different story for women who prefer a man with firm buttocks, a flat stomach, muscular and five to six inches taller than them. Unlike men, the physical appearance is not always important to women. Women are usually factor in the character quality as well when seeking a partner. Research has found that the eyes are much less important for women as they are for men and are attracted to men who possess attributes such as personality, loyalty, firmness and sense of humor.

So you know a bit about the psychology of what men and women think that when choosing a mate. Now, if you meet their needs, then send body language attraction signals. It is important to keep an eye on them.

Attraction signals sent by women include:
Shaking her hair – What happens here is that the women pull their hair away from her face or shoulder in a sensual way.
Touching Self – When a woman gently touching the neck or thigh, she is telling the man she is interested.
Baring neck – This is another sign of submission when the woman bares her neck to the man tilting her head to one side of the shoulder.

Attraction signals sent by men include:
Posture – A man tries to appear more dominant and the alpha-male as the sketch in the stomach, straighten his back and extend his chest forward.
The setting of the clothes and hair -A man will dust off his clothes, fix his hair, adjusting his tie and collar.
Other signs – A man normally shows its dominance of masculinity and sticking his thumbs in his belt, and pointing toward his crotch.

It is important to note these body language attraction signals in everyday life. Once you do, you start to notice more and more people sending signals and becomes a matter of acting on them. I suggest that when you go out, see what others are doing and how they behave near their loved ones, family and friends. After a while, of course, begin to read body language.
